The Smugglers Table
Review
Take a seat at The Smugglers Table Restaurant, and not only will your taste buds thank you: so will your other half; who will decide you’re extraordinarily clever, in finding such a hidden foodie jewel. Set in the highly attractive village of Killyleagh, where colourful houses shine like sugary fruits, and the romantic, Medieval Killyleagh Castle, keeps a steady gaze on the village, this delightful, cosy bar and restaurant, offers visitors a totally delicious menu. Head Chef Roy Abrahams, cooks seasonal, imaginative, fresh and utterly sublime food, using the finest local produce, including treasures from Strangford Lough, indeed, the seafood draws the crowds, as does the quirky, laid back atmosphere. A crackling open fire provides a perfect backdrop to share one of Roy’s glorious desserts.
