The Upper Crust

Eating Out

Review

A trip into a bygone era is what you can expect when visiting the Upper Crust restaurant. Its owners Mary & Roger, along with Mary's sister Kate, really have put their heart and soul into this restaurant. Their menu is simple, wholesome and very reasonably priced indeed. So when you take your trip down memory lane, you’ll still have more than enough change for a dessert! The restaurant itself has a charming atmosphere and even though it may not be the most sparkling restaurant in the world, you could pick it up and position it in Paris and it really wouldn't be out of place one bit. As you will find throughout this book, we have only chosen a small number of places to eat and all those chosen are highly recommended by local accommodation providers.

Located in the heart of Helensburgh, Sinclair House is a very good choice indeed and with only four rooms and a self-catering flat, you won’t be wall-to-wall with other visitors.
