Showcasing the brilliance of Scottish creativity and the best of design from around the globe, V&A Dundee's mission is to inspire people through design. The museum provides a place to delight, discover and to learn, all with breathtaking views of the city's waterfront. V&A Dundee features world-class exhibitions alongside the permanent Scottish Design Galleries, and is jam-packed with activities and events all year round, for all ages to enjoy. The magnificent building was designed by internationally renowned architect Kengo Kuma, and first opened in 2018 – the only V&A museum you'll find anywhere in the world outside London! Boasting some of the most remarkable exhibitions, worldwide visitors love exploring this design museum. Design can really change the way we live, and this museum is the living proof. The V&A Dundee Community Garden is also worth a visit and is located on the edge of Slessor Gardens. It has fantastic facilities for the whole family, including a luggage area and free WIFI. The whole building was designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind, making it accessible to everyone. The shop has a great range of products on offer. From books, to stationery, homeware, and even jewellery, there are some incredible gift ideas for all.
