Review
Set in the heart of Oban is an award-winning hotel filled with character, hospitality, and of course, whisky. What more could you want from a trip to Scotland? This late 19th Century stone building, that started life as a townhouse, is comprised of three floors housing 10 en-suite rooms, a Whisky Bar complete with Master Blender of the Year Billy Walker, and a unique Whisky Tasting Room. There is also a beer garden where you can sit and enjoy a bite to eat. The rooms range in size and are immaculate and cosy, offering all the mod-cons. It is difficult to think of a reason to leave the hotel really, except that it is perfectly placed to explore Oban on foot, being as central as it is. A wonderful place to stay.
