Viola Arena is the brand new ice skating rink in the very heart of Cardiff’s Sports Village. The arena boasts 2 spectacular ice pads used for a wide range of recreational and professional skating sessions, activities and events as well as a large cafeteria and bar. The ice rink is available for fantastic birthday parties, school bookings and private hire. We hold specific family disco sessions, toddler play sessions and much more!We have regular NISA Learn To Skate courses which are available to absolutely anyone and everyone! These courses are available to start at any point and are a great way to not only have fun but also improve fitness, balance and confidence.Private tuition is available to all ages and abilities. Our Viola Skate Academy is always looking to welcome new members. During half term and holidays we hold learn to skate crash courses which have proven to be incredibly popular. These courses include a 30 minute lesson every day, meal deal and all day skating pass! The best way to spend a half term by keeping active and making friends!

Cardiff is vastly becoming the go to place for events and with so many arenas and event spaces popping up all over the city, the calibre of event that happens here in Cardiff, is getting higher and higher, take the Viola Arena for instance. Putting the events held at the arena to one side for a moment, come rain or shine, the Viola Arena is most definitely somewhere you should come and experience. This state of the art building has a lot to offer to not only experienced skaters, but those who have always wanted to give it a try. Viola Arena is also to the elite Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey team and their games are most definitely worth a watch, whether your an ice hockey fan or not, every game offers an experience unrivalled by other sporting fixtures. I was really impressed by the slick running of the arena and I can’t recommend it enough.
