Wadworth Brewery Tour & Visitor Centre

Attractions

Located in the bustling market town of Devizes, Wiltshire, our Visitor Centre is open Monday* to Saturday all year round for you to browse & enjoy. Boasting a free self-guided exhibition of brewing memorabilia, a unique collection of hand painted pub signs, and much more, there really is more to Wadworth than meets the eye.

Our onsite sampling bar will enable you to appreciate our range of wonderfully hand crafted ales in comfortable surroundings, with our knowledgeable Visitor Centre Team on hand to answer any of those brewing questions you may have. Hot and soft drinks are available as well as our famous Wadworth Pork Pie & Cheese Platter (available 12-4pm daily - subject to availability).

Our Brewery Shop is fully stocked with a wide selection of gift ideas, merchandise and of course our complete range of beers, all of which have been chosen with you in mind. We are also proud stockists of our exclusive Wadworth World of Wine range.

As well as being able to stroll round our self-guided exhibition, we offer guided tours of this family owned brewery, tours run daily at 11am & 2pm**. Prices start from £6 for children (12+), £8.50 seniors (60+) and £10 for adults - click here for more information. Tours last for approximately 2 - 2½hrs and include a tutored sampling session, unfortunately we are unable to allow children under 12 years old on our tours, see our Brewery Guided Tours section for full details.

Our Visitor Centre is open from 10am till 5pm and is free entry - pop in and say hello!

Review

The Wadworth Brewery Visitor Centre along with its compact tour, really did catch me off guard, like so many of the hidden gem attractions that are featured throughout this particular edition of my Top 100 Attractions range of books. In our Sleep Tight & Food for Thought sections of our books, it is our ethos not to feature any chains in them, but such is the quality at all of their pubs we just had to feature a small few of their destination venues. I liked the way they treat every person that goes on a tour like real people, not just like a number and this really shines on through via their highly experienced tour guides. We don't mention opening times in this book but it is worth pointing out that they don't operate tours on a Sunday, but apart from that, they are open every day of the week.
