You will find this incredible nature reserve between Wiggonby and Kirkbampton overlooking the Solway Plain and Norther Lakeland Fells. Open every day, the Watchtree Nature reserve offers woodlands, meadows and wetlands galore – making it perfect for walking their themed trails, orienteering, cycling and just generally enjoying the wonder of the outdoors. And what better place to take photography classes, than in perfect wilderness. They also offer an education service for schools. All of this is maintained and developed by a dedicated team of volunteers. There is an online and an on-site gift shop stocking seasonal gifts made by local artists; the proceeds of which go towards the reserve. A must visit.
