Welland Valley Vineyard

Often talked about as one of East Midland’s best kept secrets, this vineyard is set on a stunning land. Producing some of the best Sparkling wines in the UK, they also produce French and German grape varieties. Welcoming to all (and that includes dogs), the owners are wonderfully friendly, and you will want to stay as long as you can. Many tours are available, so do pre-book. The vineyard is ideally wheelchair accessible too. The on-site winery is pretty heavenly, and the wines are very tasty. You will be able to admire 2.5 acres of magical land. As well as a vineyard, they also have an incredible cider orchard! If you want to immerse yourself in a complete vineyard experience, you could even ask to help with the harvest. Do bear in mind that visits are generally possible by appointment only, so try to book in advance or give them a quick call beforehand.
