From Welshpool airport your pleasure flight will take you over some of the most stunning scenery in Britain. Welshpool is not far from the English border, the scene of many conflicts years ago, and the many hill forts and castles you can see form the air is evidence of this. 10, 15 and 30 minute flight are available. Do you want a career as a helicopter pilot ? Do you want to know that you will be offered paid flying work on completion of your flying training ? Then our Career Pilot Program will be of definite interest. At the end of your professional training you will be offered a mix of Commercial Charter, Photographic Flights, Pleasure Flying and Instructional work. Designed specifically for those individuals wanting a career as a helicopter pilot, the training also involves a structured hour building package and offers a minimum of 80hrs paid flying work for those candidates enrolled onto the course and who complete the course to the satisfaction of the Chief Pilot.

Review

Whizzard Helicopters are probably one of the most unique and thrilling attractions within this book. With flights throughout Mid Wales & Snowdonia, just to name a few, I couldn't imagine any better way to see these stunning parts of Wales. Even though they do set flights over each area, another great thing I liked about Whizzard Helicopters, is they can tailor make a journey to suit your requirements. Whizzards professional and well trained pilots are just about the best in the pleasure flight business, and they really do add to the experience, and with state of the art helicopters you really couldn't be in better hands. Despite an attraction being big, we still look for visitor experience set against value for money when choosing our Top 100 Attractions. Whizzard Helicopters doesn't only have both of these criteria, they also offer a once in a lifetime and unrivalled experience, who could ask for more?
