Review

Wildlands is the brainchild of Faye and David Bohan and their father Tim who are famed for bringing us the extraordinary Delphi Resort in Connemara and would seem on the surface that Wildlands is just another adventure resort and getaway destination with a focus on providing a unique and exciting experience just for families, but you’d be wrong, as Wildlands is just as exciting for couples and the fact that it’s one of my romantic destinations, stands testament to that. The resort itself is set in 20 acres of woodland and offers a variety of adventurous activities for those seeking an adrenaline rush, or just pure unadulterated adventures. Some of the activities on offer include climbing through the forest on ziplines and wires, as well as attempting Irish-themed escape rooms. From world-class amenities to bespoke experiences, Wildlands ensures a harmonious retreat for those seeking a perfect balance between relaxation and thrill.

ACCOMMODATION

Located just outside Galway, on the road to Clifden, Wildlands Resort and their Studio Cabins redefine luxury accommodation with unparalleled quality and excellence. Having personally experienced the allure of these cabins, I can attest to their extraordinary attention to detail. Each cabin is a haven of tasteful furnishings, meticulously curated to create an ambiance that seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comfort. What sets Wildlands apart is its true commitment to providing a romantic escape reminiscent of far-flung destinations like Canada, Wyoming, or Montana. From the cozy interiors to the breathtaking surroundings, every element is designed to transport guests to a realm of tranquility and intimacy. The Studio Cabins are a testament to Wildlands' dedication to offering an unparalleled experience, making it a standout choice for those seeking a romantic retreat in the heart of Galway. Without a doubt, Wildlands sets a new standard for excellence in cabin accommodations.
