Wood Farm B&B is an exquisite looking, working beef farm situated only a stone’s throw from York’s Park and Ride service. Very handy when trying to avoid the congestion in town itself. The establishment is run by mother and daughter duo, Helen and Claire. This Victorian farmhouse, which is set amidst immaculate gardens, offers three first floor en-suite spacious bedrooms which have been individually designed using the period features to full, luxurious advantage. The views from this farm of the Yorkshire countryside are breath-taking.
The breakfasts are generous, delicious (and award-winning and Aga-cooked!) and use locally-sourced produce and home-made breads and preserves. At Wood Farm you are perfectly positioned to enjoy the historic city of York, the Dales ad the host of other exciting activities and restaurants on offer in close proximity. This B&B comes with fantastic reviews online – the only regret that folks have is that they didn’t stay longer.
